REACH
REACH does regulate Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of the Chemicals used in the European Community. It is meant to ensure better protect humans and environment against harms caused by chemical substances. The substances concerned are being ascertained by the European Chemicals Agency and published on a so-called ‘list of candidates'.
Current status of implementation:
ritterwerk works closely with its suppliers to collect and evaluate the required information.
Furthermore, we try to avoid any substances of very high concern (SVHC) according to REACH Art. 33 in our products as much as possible.
According to our current knowledge, the following substances of the candidate list are contained in our products or their packaging in concentrations above 0.1% by weight:
Lead, CAS No. 7439-92-1 may be present in all household appliances in aluminium, steel, brass and copper alloys.
Phenol, CAS No. 108-95-2 may be present in sliding elements of hand blenders.
